Some common questions from New Students
When will I have my first lesson?
Cardon Studios can usually accommodate a new student within one week! Depending on our current availability, we’ll aim to have you scheduled as soon as possible. Please allow two business days from registration for confirmation of your assigned lesson time. Your membership officially begins on the day of your first lesson.
Does Cardon Studios offer a family discount?
Yes! Cardon Studios offers 10% off of all memberships for families with multiple students. Please email us at info@cardonstudios.com to discuss your specific situation.
What if I would like to study two instruments?
Great! We love to work with students with a variety of interests, and proudly support your goals with 10% off both lesson memberships! Whether you prefer back-to-back lessons or scheduling on different days of the week, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences. Email us at info@cardonstudios.com to discuss your unique needs.
Can I have a trial lesson before committing to on-going classes?
Yes! You are welcome to schedule a single lesson instead of beginning your membership. But, with our Money Back Guarantee on memberships, why not set up a lesson plan you can stick with? If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to email us at info@cardonstudios.com to discuss your individual situation and goals.
How will I be matched with my teacher?
Because all Cardon Studios teachers are active in DC’s music scene, their availability varies, so placement with a teacher often depends on your scheduling needs. Since all of our teachers share the same educational guidelines and solid technical background, you’re in great hands no matter what! If you have a preference for working with a particular teacher, we’ll make every effort to accommodate your request, within the confines of our current availability.
How will I be billed?
Flat-rate tuition for monthly membersĀ is charged to your card on file automatically on the same day each month. This ensures that your lesson time is available to you each week and helps support your consistent success. To cancel at any time, we simply request 15 days’ notice. If you’re not ready to make a month-to-month commitment, please inquire about alternative scheduling options.
What is Cardon Studios' Membership Cancellation Policy?
To cancel your membership, simply contact us in writing to info@cardonstudios.com with 15 days’ notice before your monthly billing date.

Have a conflict with a single lesson appointment? Your lesson time is reserved for you every week, with exceptions only for holidays as noted in our policies.
