Brittany Cusack is a Dramatic Soprano who has studied with a variety of wonderful teachers up and down the East Coast. Originally from South Carolina, Brittany completed her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Shenandoah Conservatory, before going on to earn a Master of Music in Opera from Brooklyn College-Conservatory in Brooklyn, NY. A life-long learner, Brittany continues to study both piano and voice and teaches throughout the DC-Baltimore area.
Brittany teaches all styles of singing and piano and enjoys working with a variety of ages. Brittany is an active performer, and you can catch her upcoming engagements in both the DC metro region and NYC. She has appeared in opera with Opera Company of Brooklyn, and New York Lyric Opera Theatre, as well as acting in theater such as the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts. A frequent competitor and recitalist, Brittany has premiered new compositions by living composers, was awarded Semi-Finalist in the New York Lyric Opera Theatre Vocal Competition, and was named a Winner in the preliminary rounds of the nationwide Classical Singer Competition.
